Need to find a tutor for yourself, a family member or a friend? Timway Home College is proud to present a directory of tutors throughout the UK available online, fully searchable by location, subjects tutored and the level at which they are taught.

Note from Aleen Medcalf (owner of Timway Home College) 17/11/01: 'The time and cost involved in complying with the Data Protection Act makes it currently impossible for me to display a full list of individual tutors on this site. However, over the years I have gained details of many organisations that do provide access to such information, on a country-wide basis. If you require a tutor for a specific subject(s) at a given level, in a particular location not covered below, try searching the Yellow Pages for Tuition. If this does not provide the necessary information, please contact me and I will do my best to point you in the right direction.'

In order to make this database as comprehensive a list of tutors throughout the UK as possible we need your help! If you are a tutor in the UK, tutoring at any level up to A-level standard, please send us your details using this form.

Currently Timway Home College is going through the process of registration with the Commissioner for Data Protection, so submissions will be stored and featured in the database upon successful registration.

To search for a tutor, please use the form below to enter any desired attributes as appropriate. Leave any fields that are not relevant to your criteria blank, and click submit. If a search finds no matches, try using wider criteria. Guidelines for searching are available below.

In order to get the results you want, adhere to the following searching guidelines. You may leave the subject blank if you wish, but no matter what subject you supply the results will always contain records that correlate to people and organisations that can teach all subjects. If you wish to find a tutor in a specific town then enter it in the location field. If no records are found then try widening your search by putting just the county in the location field. If this fails then you can leave the location blank to return all records adhering to other supplied criteria, but this may result in large numbers of records being returned.

Please note that Timway Home College cannot vouch for the quality of any tutoring services listed within the database. Always take care when choosing a tutor for children.
